Natasha is a psychotherapist, clinical supervisor and immigration psych evaluator licensed to practice in the states of Virginia, Maryland, and Rhode Island. She obtained her undergraduate Bachelors of Science degree in Psycho-Biology at Lincoln University of PA and her masters of social work degree at Norfolk State University, VA. Though Natasha has been practicing and providing therapeutic services to varying degrees in both the states of Rhode Island and Virginia for over 10 years and more recently the state of Maryland working with children as young as age 6, adolescents and adults up to ages 85, she began practicing independently in 2019 when I-Thrive Therapy and Wellness was born only after completing her treatment for breast cancer.
Natasha who is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW / LCSWC) provides psychotherapy to individuals aged 14+, couples, families and groups. Natasha's years of clinical expertise have narrowed down her niche where she can help you address depression, moods, communication issues, PTSD / racial PTSD, anxiety, loss and bereavement, career choice and changes, anger, and stress management. She also helps many in the area of cultural life changes and assimilation, life transitions, and offers comprehensive immigration psychological evaluation.
As a cancer survivor/thriver, she also provides services to individuals who are caregivers, newly diagnosed, in active treatment, or those navigating life post-treatment.
Natasha’s treatment modalities include: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Mindfulness Cognitive Therapy, Journal & Expressive Arts Therapy, Reality Based Therapy and Logotherapy.
